All Trains Cancelled !

So what is it with the UK train network? All our government says is we must use public transport all of the time so save the environment.

So with everyone staying at relatives over the Christmas period you would save going by car and go for the train, yes ?

Well, er no. You see all train networks have cancelled all trains over the Christmas period.

That’s right, services on all networks stop on Christmas Eve and only begin again on the 27th - so don’t even bother.

Of course the news was burried a bit, but in 2006 surely the UK could manage some 21st century transportation for us 60million folks  -  couldn’t they ?

Well of course not. So don’t worry about getting a train over Christmas; use your car instead !
