what motivates you to start a business ?

Wow, there are so many reasons why people want to start a business of their own. Whether it be necessity because of redundancy, or a young person just wanting to set themselves up or just the notion of starting a business and a long life dream, there’s one thing everyone has in common - and that’s motivation.

So what motivates YOU to think about starting a new business ? Why are you looking on the internet for information about financing or business plans to kick start your idea and make that journey so that your business becomes the success you want it to be ? It this your dream to “be your own boss” or is it just a fad because you are bored with your job and your boss ?

So what kind of person do you need to be to start a business? Well as said above you need tons of motivation - and that is generally self motivation if you are starting up alone - even if you have a partner where they can help motivate you and vice versa, you still need some “get going” momentum to get you and your business successful.

The tough parts are where the business may not be going as successful as you first thought. Look at all the failing businesses around - why did they fail at all - was it limited motivation of the business owner or just a lack of skills in some areas ? No one really knows (although a lot of companies fail when they don’t have a business plan and this has been proven time and time again)

But in general, seasoned entrepreneurs are those that keep looking for opportunities to make money. They have the money bug and want to be even more successful.

So I guess the advice is that for any business whatever the time of year or whatever is happening with your business you need tons of self motivation to keep going and make your business a success.
