starting a business whilst working
One thing a lot of people don’t realise when starting up their new business is just how much time at actually takes to get things moving along.
With any new business venture you’ll need to put a lot of time in setting it up - just so customers can start buying from you.
Not only to get yourself ready but to tell prospective customers that you exist and your business will serve their purpose as well.
The best thing you can do is prepare well in advance. That means that if you are already in employment don’t resign and then start to prepare. That is time wasted. So if you are in employment right now start to prepare.
This doesn’t mean devoting time whilst you should be working but after work and at the weekends. Start off with your business plan. Although this may sound like a boring piece of work it will show you how many of your widgets you need to sell at what profit margin to break-even and to make your objectives in the longer term.
Once you believe your business plan is viable get others to check it out. A new perspective on your ideas will help you flesh out what’s really required and how you will make your new business a success.
Check out the business plans section before you begin and use your time wisely to plan your new business properly.
